Separate towns, separate styles, seperate influences. In some ways, folk/pop artist Zach Steinbach and hip/hop producer The LMNtlyst are worlds apart. As with all good collaborations, however, it’s the uniqueness of each other's sound that makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Former coworkers at a Milwaukee-based technology company, Zach Steinbach and Brandon Birchbauer (“The LMNtlyst”) became little more than distant acquaintances once Zach moved to Nashville in November of 2013. A temporary job in Dallas, Texas the following Spring brought the two together once more — And this time, together in more than just a trade. Time away from home, a Macbook, and a matter of happenstance sparked the merging of two musical worlds, and the collaboration was born.

Zach’s vocal ability and melodic phrasing shine bright against the hard-hitting, gritty swagger of The LMNtlyst, as heard on the duo’s debut single, “Not Home” — It's their first release, and the catalyst for brand new creativity.
